LCP Fiber

LCP fiber are a family of aromatic polyesters. There are three different manufacturers who produce these high performance fibers nowadays. LCP fiber is used frequently in ropes, sails and woven fabrics. This does not absorb water and has a higher tensile strength than para-aramid. LCP fiber also handles abrasion and fatigue much better than para-aramid and could be an excellent alternative.
