ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOLUTIONS

Harnessing wind energy. Upgrading older curing systems with newer, highly efficient alternatives.

RECYCLE, REUSE, REDUCE

Recycling and reusing materials like plastic, cardboard, tubes, and OFSR spools. Reclaiming loose fibers such as fiberglass, polyester, nylon, and aramid. Reusing returnable totes, reels, and pallets. Utilizing recycled heat from manufacturing processes.

MOTION-SENSING TECHNOLOGY

Implementing motion-sensing lighting in lightly trafficked production areas, bathrooms, lunchrooms, and offices. Installing motion sensors on sinks, soap dispensers, and air dryers.

OTHER INITIATIVES

Transitioning to paperless invoicing . Utilizing internet and video conferencing to reduce travel. Conducting energy audits to establish benchmarks. Sending holiday wishes via email instead of cards.

DIGCUE LONG-TERM ENVIRONMENTAL GOALS

Utilizing rooftop space for solar power generation. Exploring stretch or shrink wrap packaging as alternatives to cardboard. Assessing and installing T5 lighting where feasible. Incorporating skylights where feasible. Introducing a paperless paycheck option.
